After taking the online Mograph Mentor course, “Ultimate guide to stylized 3d modelling” with Paul McMahon (@TheRustedPixel). I wanted to take what I’ve learned and model a few japan themed items. I ended up with a ramen cart scene and some Japanese inspired ramen bowls. This personal project helped me focus and improve on good modelling practices. I also took the time to dive into more texturing in Octane. I was looking for a balance of realistic and stylized textures. I modeled everything myself with the exception of the tree. I took it a step further by animating it all into one piece with post work added in After Effects.
